Signage system re-design project
My group went to the Stollery Children's Hospital at the University of Alberta where we found the signage somewhat slapped together using bear stickers, and the typeface was a bit hard to read. There was also a plethora of Word Art printouts on the walls and on the doors. So we went and re-designed the signage system using colour coding to indicate which section you were in as well as creating fun symbols for the patient doors that would fit in with the respective theme of each section and help children find their rooms more easily. We also reorganized some information to make things clearer and added some directional signage in the entrance.
