In a design research class in 2005, it was found that elderly people had difficulty reading the instructions on the smaller box of Tylenol, forcing them to by the larger bottles. Not only were the instructions too small and cramped, but there was some important information on the inside flaps that could easily be missed depending on which side was opened. Also, people tended to throw away the box after opening it, even though it has instructions not included on the bottle.

Using the data collected from the research, I re-designed the 500mg box so that the information was more easily accessible and the more important warnings and dosage could be easily spotted. I also rewrote some of the information to make it clearer and more concise in both English and French.
